New Era Acoustic Underlay Is a high density re-bonded recycled rubber & cork crumb resilient underlay. It is our highly effective and most slimline resilient layer available for the reduction of impact noise in concrete constructions. It’s density gives minimal compression leaving you a long lasting and effective solution that can receive a wide range of floor finishes.

MS 500 ADHESIVE

Product Information

MS500 Wood Floor Adhesive from New Era is a high-strength, single-part silane polymer adhesive. The advantage of MS500 is that it can be used for bonding most types of wood flooring including wood blocks, engineered, laminated & solid wood plank flooring and the New Era Range of Acoustic Underlays. MS500 is also compatible with under-floor heating systems. It cannot be used over bitumen-based subfoors. This adhesive is compatible with most substrates including sand and cement screeds, concrete, Anhydrite (Calcium Sulphate) screeds, stone and timber. For compatibility confirmation with the underfloor heating systems contained within the substrate contact the Technical Team.

KNIGHTSBRIDGE, LONDON
ONE HYDE PARK
This prestigious residential development in Knightsbridge demanded the highest specification for all trades. New Era Acoustic cradle system was specified to conform to Document E regulation. The floor height was 125-165mm using a 46mm batten at 400mm centres with a 22mm T&G plywood glued and screwed to the battens. This gave a perfectly acoustically isolated sub-floor for the carpets and oak flooring to be fitted on.

PORTSMOUTH HISTORIC BOATYARD
Situated in Portsmouth
Historical Dockyard, the Boathouse was a development that required an acoustic raised batten system for hardwood decking, Oak plank flooring and a plywood substrate for the 1st floor. New Era Cradles were specified to provide a finished floor height range from 74-190mm and was fitted at 400mm centres. This proved a versatile and cost effective way to overcome all the different levels.

This purpose made basketball court was commissioned by Nike for the Olympics to conform to BSEN14904 Part A4 sports standard and was installed in a converted warehouse space. New Era cradles were installed from 74-320mm to overcome the gradual slope from one side of the warehouse to the other. This was fitted on Delta FM membrane at 411mm centres to suit the Junckers black stained beech flooring.

New Era was specified to replace an existing floor to the National sports centre main arena and North Balcony and needed to conform to BSEN14904, with heights ranging from 76-105mm. The floor needed extra strength due to the heavy bleacher seating so the batten centres were reduced to 205mm centres and a Junckers Sylvasport Premium Beech floor installed. This provided adequate support for the seating and service vehicles for high level maintenance. This quick and easy installation was completed in 4 weeks.
