Yes, New Era Cradles are manufactured independently in West Sussex UK and are not made under licence anywhere else.

Are New Era Cradles made from recycled plastic?

Yes, all components are made from 100% recycled external plastic parts.

Have the cradle been tested for Acoustics & Sport?

Yes, the cradles have undergone extensive testing at AIRO Laboratory for acoustic compliance and The Centre of Sports Technology for sports, reaching the highest standards.

What finished floor height can be achieved with the cradle system?

The floor can be levelled to finished floor heights of 74mm up to 433mm using the modular interlacing components.

Can I use the floor straight after laying when using the cradle & battens?

Yes, New Era does not require any drying time and can be used immediately after installation.

Can New Era cradle system be used instead of Screed?

Yes, New Era can be used instead of screed, but will require adequate insulation between the battens to ensure U Value compliance.

What is the surface loading of the Gymflex Flooring?

The flooring can easily take a load of 500KG per m2 on a spread load and 350kg per m2 point load on a standard install. These weights can be increased by using additional battens or plywood supports if extra weight is required for seating units, scissor lifts or free-weights etc. (Job specific requirements would be needed)
