National Gallery Heritage Refurbishment:
Premium Hakwood Oak Flooring Installation.
The brief
With millions of visitors admiring its exceptional collection of early Renaissance paintings every year, the National Gallery demanded a flooring solution that combined durability, aesthetic appeal, and precise craftsmanship.
The refurbishment project required high-quality oak flooring capable of withstanding heavy foot traffic while complementing the gallery’s historic interiors.
Scope of Work
The project featured the New Era Silent Ply sytem with heights from 74-125mm, which provided a perfectly levelled sub-floor system for the stunning oak flooring that you see today.
The versatilty if the system allowed services to be run under the floor to link up with floor access hatches.
